A Utilitarian Defense of Non-Monogamy

Jason Cruz

This paper provides a critique of normative monogamy and offers non-monogamy as a viable, even encouraged, alternative when partners agree to its features. It examines the pleasure non-monogamy can provide, case studies featuring polyamorous relationships, and the problems which can arise when members of a relationship begin to objectify others.
