Many SSA members are also members of H-Levant, the online discussion network that promotes online scholarly conversation about the culture, history, and politics of modern Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, and Palestine (URL: http://www.h-net.org/~levant/) . In addition to requests for archival assistance, suggestions for teaching materials, and updates on current events, H-Levant publishes reviews of recent scholarly publications.
